Fredonia II and Cocorico


For the second year running, Gisèle Clark and Terry Nelson presented the Fredonia II project at Antibes. The aim is to build a reproduction of the celebrated New England schooner, measuring nearly 40 meters on deck. Under the heading "From Dream to Reality", this commercial project necessitates a large budget and this is to be raised by various means. These will include a promotional film (now in post-production), contacts with potential investors and by the sale of subscriptions for shares in the vessel. The travel agency Cocorico (who specialise in diving holidays) sponsored a prize draw for new subscribers at the Antibes Festival with the lucky winner, Nadine Dangla (a Festival 'regular' and photographer, biologist and patchwork artist), being offered a magnificent diving holiday for two in the Red Sea. Congratulations to a new subscriber!
